Magic and MoralityWhile magic allows you to perform wondrous acts in the game, it can be used for terrible purposes. Some walls can be shaped; you can manipulate the wall into a form other than a straight line, choosing its contiguous path square by square. You might need to keep track of the caster’s initiative after they stopped being able to act to monitor spell durations. Some of these systems are generic, creating a platform for any setting and some are system specific. Sometimes with rulebooks there is either a lot of detail and that can work well for some systems and then again sometimes you just don’t get enough detail.

As with other downtime activities, fortune and misfortune effects can’t modify your checks for the ritual, nor can bonuses or penalties that aren’t active throughout the process.
